How it's calculated
- Enter the FNSKU (X00β¦), ASIN or UPC and the product name; the barcode is rendered as Code 128 for FNSKU/ASIN and EAN-13/UPC-A for retail codes.
- Pick a label size that matches your sheet or thermal printer β Amazon accepts labels between 1 Γ 2 in and 2 Γ 3 in as long as they scan.
- Batch mode takes a list of SKUs and lays them out on the sheet automatically, so 30 units take one click rather than 30.
- Export produces a PDF at 300 dpi; print at 100% scale with no fit-to-page so the barcode keeps its exact dimensions.
- Scan a printed label with your phone before applying to inventory. If it doesn't scan, it will fail at the fulfillment center too.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an official Amazon tool?+
No. It renders the same Code 128 barcode format Amazon requires for FNSKU labels, but you are responsible for confirming the label scans and follows current FBA labeling requirements.
Do I need an FNSKU label if my product has a UPC?+
Only if you use the Amazon barcode option (stickerless commingling disabled), which most sellers should β it keeps your units from being mixed with other sellers' inventory.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?+
No. Labels are generated entirely in your browser with jsbarcode and jspdf; nothing is sent to a server.
Which label size should I use?+
2 Γ 1 in (Avery 5160-style, 30 per sheet) is the most common for FNSKU. Use white non-reflective labels and avoid covering the barcode with tape.
