How it's calculated
- Sales under $15: Poshmark keeps a flat $2.95 regardless of price.
- Sales of $15 or more: Poshmark keeps 20% of the sale price.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the effective rate so high on cheap items?+
Because $2.95 is flat. On a $5 sale that is 59% of the price; on a $14 sale it is 21%. Poshmark's fee is designed for items priced $15 and up β below that, list on a platform with percentage-only fees or bundle items.
Do I pay fees on shipping?+
No. The buyer pays shipping directly to Poshmark for the label, and it is not part of your sale price, so no commission is charged on it.
Is the 20% negotiable for high-value items?+
No. Poshmark applies 20% uniformly above $15 with no cap, which is why very high-value items are often more profitable on platforms with tiered fees.
Are Poshmark fees the same in Canada and Australia?+
The structure is the same but the thresholds and flat fee are in local currency and differ slightly. This calculator uses the US schedule.
